    The Protagonist Cafe is one of the coffee shops where you will want to grab a book and sit in the peacefulness while sipping a freshly made cup of coffee, I loved the ambiance of this place and believe me it's hard to impress me in that area. They are big on the gender affirmation here so if you want a more conservative coffee then don't go in here. The workers were very nice and had great attitudes. If I'm ever back in the area, I believe I would revisit.

    Chic Cafe! It has its own Library! It has a number of unique coffee and tea options. My London Fog was hot fresh and delicious. The furniture was worn-in but comfortable. The bookshelves held many genres and the music was pleasant and eclectic Order the cinnamon rolls!

    Perfect and best coffee house in St. Louis. The ambiance is the ultimate in coffee house comfort with tables for working and couches for relaxing. There are loads of books and games if you just want to hang out with a friend. Get your favorite coffee expertly prepared. There is a reasonable selection of pastries and ice cream. If you would like a glass of wine in the 5:00 somewhere hour, Protagonist can accommodate you.
